Program n° 1:  Punta la Marmora  ( ring )

The departure is from Fonni, and after an approximately  40-minute drive by off-road vehicles, we’ll reach  the foot of the locality Genna Erbeghe. From this point, we start our trekking following a dirt road for a few hundred meters until we reach the Bruncu Spina peek (the second highest peak in the Island, 1829 mt). From here, another path connect us to the dirt track of  Arcu  Gennargentu ( 1659 mt), and, following the route, up to Punta La Marmora (the highest peek in Sardinia, 1834mt) from where you can admire the valleys below at 360 degrees. It is not unusual to meet wild animals along the way,  such as the mouflon or the wild horses and, with some luck, even the Golden Eagle. After a short rest we start our way back towards the Arcu Gennargentu. Then we reach a picnic area and from there we’ll start our way back to Fonni, following the path of  Arcu Artilai until Genna Erbeghe, and, from that point,  again on our off-road vehicles until we are back to Fonni.
