Programme n° 7: Canyon “Gorropu” Valle di Oddoene ( tour in fuoristrada e trekking)
Departure from Fonni in 4 x4 vehicles to proceed towards the direction of “Oddoene”, a valley that leads to our starting point for the trek. After a few tips on the right behavior and a brief explanation of the territory, we start our walk following an old dirt road that runs along the bed of the river "Flumineddu"; its waters flow for several kilometers inside the canyon. On the way, we will make several stops that serve to catch your breath and to explain the natural and environmental beauties of the territory. Arriving at the entrance of the gorge, always following the suggestions that our guides recommend, we’ll traverse the gorge as far as possible until we arrive at the narrowest and highest point of the “Gorropu Canyon”, after that we’ll come back for about ten minutes until we get to the only karst spring, where participants can have their packed lunch. For the return we’ll retrace our steps to reach our 4 x 4 vehicles and go to Fonni.
